In this workshop, you will:
understand how embodied insight developed through storytelling can support wellbeing, by using the creative arts to hone emotional intelligence.
Who is this workshop for?
Adults with an interest in emotional intelligence and creative arts (21+)
Human service professionals, government, and non-government workers, people in the private sector who wish to incorporate the use of the arts in health into their contexts, expressive arts enthusiasts with no access to local training, artists
The training will be designed to be neuroaffirmative; keeping this in mind, participants are encouraged to bring a comfort item if needed)
Resource Person
Dr. Neha Christopher
PhD, BC-DMT, AThR, MSc
A globally-engaged dance/movement therapist and educator bridging clinical work, research and social justice. With a PhD investigating the neuro-biological power of embodied resilience, she has worked across India, Nepal, the Dominican Republic and the US, and co-founded the Indian Association of Dance/Movement Therapy. As core faculty at the University of Melbourne, she advances neuro-dance therapy for treatment-resistant depression and diverse populations.

No, but you may incorporate the use of expressive arts within your current practice. In order to practice as an expressive arts therapist, further studies are required. The European Graduate school with whom TAHI is affiliated offers an MA in Expressive Arts Therapy program. More details can be found at this link

Each workshop indicates if it is online, face-to-face, or a combination of both. If you are not based in Metro Manila, you may have to make special arrangements in order to attend any face-to-face sessions. We can provide you with a list of options for accommodations upon request.
